Trailer Hitch Installation, Pontiac Vibe - etrailer.com

This model has preexisting fasteners in the frame here which are corroded out, so we'll have to clean them out first with a bolt and some WD-40 to run through so we can fasten the hitch on. We've already sprayed down the bolts, now we run them just a little bit and back them up and squirt more WD-40 and do it again. Just keep going at until the bolts spin freely. Repeat this on all four bolts if necessary. Once you have the bolt half way in and it backs out pretty easy, chances are you're done. Next is to put the hitch up. Now we torque the rest down to 65 pounds.
