48 Hours earlier:
Haley finds out Chris is back in town. He asks her if they could work together. Sam and Dean meet. Brooke think she saw Peyton which makes her think she's losing her mind. But she may not be the only one. Lucas visits Haley asking for Sam. She tells him he's not there. Dean approaches her and she tells she tells him she wants to help. Haley caches Lucas putting something in his pocket. Sam comes to Brooke's asking her not to get involved but she tells him she has to do this. Haley comes to Chris and tells him what she saw. Sam attacks Dean. He accuses Dean of pursuing Brooke to be a part of finding Peyton's attacker. ADP and K talk to Peyton but she does not give in. ADP tells Peyton she's just like them and then they take her somewhere.
CDB talk about their plan. Chris does not like it but DB have found something that may change his mind.
While CDB's plan comes to life Sam finds something important.
