What you're seeing is a demonstration of a car rig that I made with Blender's game engine. This is no ordinary car... though. It has ONE HUNDRED wheels! By using two directional controls, the vehicle can go any direction and spin on a zero-degree turning radius.

I'm not sure where the original idea for this came from, but I saw a robot sporting tires like these at UNC Asheville and got so excited that I just had to try it -- in a more controlled I-can't-break-something-expensive sort of way. :)
