Every November to celebrate Guy Fawkes night , Markeaton Park in Derby is host to a great free Firework display. This year... over 20,000 people visited Markeaton Park.
This year it was held on Saturday 3rd November.

Around 4000 fireworks were launched, A Bonfire was lit at 6.45 and the fireworks started around 7pm.

The fireworks were organised by Reaction Fireworks of County Durham:

The footage I took was actually taken from the car park of Park Farm Shopping Centre, Allestree.
Its a mixture of Video and photography, I did not use a tripod so not as good as hoped.

Any Derbians out there that remember the Bonfire and fireworks events that used to be held on Normaton Park in the early 1980's. I remember those, not sure what year they stopped having it at that park do you?
