Once Upon A Time (The Prisoner)

"Once upon a Time" is the title of the 16th episode of the British science fiction-allegorical series, The Prisoner, starring Patrick McGoohan as Number Six. It originally aired in the UK on ITV on 25 January 1968 and was first broadcast in the United States on CBS on 14 September 1968.This episode was filmed sixth in the series' production run, and was originally designed to be the finale of the first of two thirteen-episode seasons. When the network and McGoohan renegotiated to make 17 episodes for the series instead of the original twenty-six, this episode's closing was refilmed and it was held back to become the first half of the two-part series finale (according to the book, The Official Prisoner Companion by Matthew White and Jaffer Ali, Warner Books, 1988).
