Expand Sr. Advertising System Engineer
You will be working on our revolutionary monetization system for video based on Videosurf's proprietary fast computation and computer vision algorithms.
Qualifications:
  • You have a BSc, MSc, PhD or higher in any Engineering/CS discipline from a top tier engineering school.
  • You are an expert in Java and C++.
  • You are an expert in large volume database/storage systems.
  • You are proficient with Linux/Unix and open source tools/platforms.
  • You have training and experience in areas such as data analysis, survey design, statistical modeling, data mining and optimization.
  • You've had exposure to advanced machine learning techniques (such as Bayesian belief networks, JTA, Kalman filters, game and auction theory).
  • You have strong experience in building highly scalable Enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge in emerging tools and technologies is a plus.
  • You learn new languages and technologies quickly, are innovative, enjoy challenges and have a great work ethic.
  • You have at least 5 years of industry experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Business Unit, Product Development Teams and Videosurf's science team to design and develop the Advertising System.
  • Design and implement the architecture that will maximize scalability while maintaining a high degree of flexibility.
  • Research algorithms and measurement methods to optimize the efficacy of the advertising system.

Expand Search Engineer
As a Search Engineer you will work on relevancy, scalability and build related features.
Qualifications:
  • You have a BS in Engineering/CS discipline from a top tier engineering school or equivalent experience.
  • Java experience with emphasis on Object Oriented Concepts is a must.
  • Experience with Lucene, SOLR or other IR libraries and search servers is a plus.
  • You have hands on experience on Linux/Unix/OSX.
  • You learn new languages and technologies quickly, are innovative, enjoy challenges and have a great work ethic.
  • You have the desire to be at an early stage company and make a difference.

Expand Sr. Product Manager
You will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • You have Minimum 5 years of Product Management, Product Marketing, or consulting experience in consumer Web-based products.
  • You are passionate about analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.
  • You have proven experience in video or web search.
  • You can define/create novel user experiences based on user and market needs.
  • You have a strong understanding of Marketing.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage projects concurrently.
  • You have a BA/BS degree; MBA a strong plus.
  • You understand the technical trade-offs of various Web production technologies.
  • You are innovative, enjoy challenges and have a great work ethic.
  • Design (User eXperience - UX) background is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Design, Development, Marketing, and Business Development teams to define requirements and functional specifications for project initiatives.
  • Think through every aspect of the user experience, putting users needs and expectations first in the definition of requirements.
  • Collect and analyze key site and business metrics and use this data to support the prioritizing and definition of project initiatives.
  • Maintain time-lines, deliverables, and requirements for projects so that they launch on time and in scope.
  • Gather new ideas for site features.
  • Help explore product implications for new business and partnership opportunities.

Expand Core Software Engineer
You will build core technology and algorithms for Videosurf's groundbreaking computer vision machinery.
Qualifications:
  • You have a BSc, MSc, PhD or higher in any Engineering/CS discipline from a top tier engineering school.
  • You are an expert in C++ programming language and C++ design patterns.
  • You have practical knowledge of design patterns and analysis algorithms.
  • You have at least 3 years of industry coding experience.
  • You have experience with UNIX / LINUX systems.
  • You learn new technologies quickly, are innovative, enjoy challenges and have a great work ethic.

Expand User Interface/User Experience Expert
You will be responsible for the architecture, interaction flow, aesthetics, graphic design and presentation from whiteboard to launch.
Qualifications:
  • You have a successful track record and years experience in designing consumer web sites with high degree of interactivity for mass audiences.
  • You have advanced degree in Graphic Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or equivalent industry experience.
  • You have experience in video or web search.
  • You are an expert in the standard tools of the trade: Photoshop,Illustrator, CSS, HTML, etc.
  • You are innovative, enjoy challenges and have a great work ethic.
Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for the architecture, interaction flow, aesthetics, graphic design and presentation from whiteboard to launch.
  • You will identify user profiles, their user interface (UI) needs and tasks and create the UI to answers those.
  • You will create users experience flows, wire frames, mockups, UI specs and advise developers during coding.
  • You will design, conduct and analyze iterative usability evaluations with representative users.

Expand Sr. System/Network Engineer
You will work on our infrastructure to ensure it's high availability, security, performance, scalability and maintainability.
Qualifications:
  • You are an expert in designing, building and maintaining large network topologies.
  • You are an expert in designing, building and maintaining large server farms.
  • You have proven experience with managing a system for a high availability web site.
  • You have experience with hardware procurement.
  • You have experience with virtualization.
  • You have experience with PostgreSQL and MySql.
  • You are an expert on UNIX / LINUX systems. Experience with high-end load balancers a plus.
  • You are an expert in scripting languages (python, bash, perl).
  • You are well versed in C/C++ and Java.

Expand Director Sales
You will be responsible for leading our sales efforts of our unique advertising solutions to content owners, content distributors and brand advertisers.
Qualifications:
  • Energetic self-starter with the desire to be at an early stage company and make a difference.
  • Expert in the online video market trends and firms.
  • Strong existing relationships with agencies and other potential customers.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
  • Capability to explain/demo our technology in easily understandable ways.
  • You have at least 3-5 years of media sales experience, preferably as a Sales Director or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with the VP of Revenue to develop a comprehensive sales strategy.
  • Lead development of comprehensive sales processes and materials.
  • Build a team of sales representatives to execute against the strategy.
  • Lead the prospecting and penetration of potential new customers to build a book of business.
  • Negotiate, structure and close on advertising agreements.
  • Exceed performance and revenue goals.

Expand SEM Manager
VideoSurf’s SEM Manager will be responsible for strategy, execution, analysis and optimization of all search engine marketing campaigns. Candidates should have a love for data analysis and a proven ability to manage successful PPC campaigns.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS or higher.
  • 2-5 years experience in online marketing.
  • Experience in and an explicit understanding of how to achieve successful PPC campaigns.
  • Strong analytical background - demonstrated ability to take data, draw insights, & make recommendations for marketing programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify keywords, create copy, and optimize bidding strategies for PPC campaigns with Google, Yahoo and other search engines.
  • Develop and initiate tests aimed at continually improving key metrics across campaigns.
  • Investigate and implement new technologies, services, and vendor solutions that enhance SEM efforts.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
  • Analyze complex data to identify performance issues and suggest solutions.
