Heroes is an American television science fiction drama that first aired on NBC in 2006 and features seemingly normal people who develop supernatural abilities. Heroes videos include a seemingly unrelated cast of characters that must work together to save the world while attempting to thwart the plans of other heroes working to take over the world -- all while trying to remain under the radar of "The Company."

The heroes talents are varied and unusual, for example Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka ) can can freeze time and teleport to the past, high school cheerleader Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) has the ability to instantly heal herself, police officer Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) can read minds, and the villainous Sylar (Zachary Quinto) steals the abilities of others by killing them and studying their brains.

Heroes full episodes have been nominated for 8 Emmys and a Golden Globe and won a People's Choice Award in 2007. Heroes videos have also earned a 2007 Program of the Year Award from Television Critics and Best International Program at the BAFTA Awards in 2008.
