Surely you’ve noticed the festive atmosphere coming to a head in our nation’s capitol this weekend. The pre-inauguration buzz around the National Mall in DC has been like a huge tailgate party before a really patriotic bowl game. And what good is a tailgate party without drinks? Here are the instructions to kick things off.

Presenting: The official Barack Obama Inauguration Drinking Game. It’s no coincidence that the O logo looks like a coaster:

The Official Barack Obama Drinking Game

Obama’s swearing in is at 12 noon (breakfast on the west coast!). Print this out and make his midday speech the pre-game for a long night of Inaugural Balls. Remember–in DC last call is 5am.

Saturday’s train tour and yesterday’s concert each could have emptied a keg. Here’s a warm up:

That 1:41 of his Lincoln Memorial speech includes:
hope 3x
opportunity
Perfect Union
change

That’s 6 drinks in 101 seconds! Imagine a 30 minute speech.
