Adrian Peterson, number one draft pick? Microsoft and Yahoo! are trying to tag team Google by forming a new partnership, and… It’s football time!! NFL training camp kicks off today, as players and coaches begin their preparations for the 2009 season, which begins September 10th, with preseason games kicking off in less than two weeks. Today we’re going to whet your appetite with some great video for the 2009 NFL season. This is your Daily Surf Report, using the best videos on the web to keep you abreast of the day’s top stories.

Microsoft and Yahoo! Announce Search Partnership

Microsoft and Yahoo! have decided to try a double coverage defense in an attempt to take a much bigger slice of the internet search pie from Google. The two companies, which individually combine to account for less than 30% of total search traffic (compared to Google’s 65%), are joining forces in a deal that would see Yahoo switching over to Microsoft’s Bing search engine, while Microsoft would get access to Yahoo’s much stronger advertising sales department.

So how will this two headed giant change the internet landscape? ABC News breaks it down:

NFL 2009 Season in the Tunnel

Are you ready for some football? With NFL training camp kicking off, all the hits and highlights of the 2009 season are so close you can almost smell the pain in the air. New uniforms are being unwrapped, the fresh leather smell of new cleats is filling locker rooms, coaching staffs across the country are buckling down for their first looks at their 2009 players, and some big, mean men are about to go to work.

In a few short weeks, we will start to have some answers to the off-season’s biggest questions: will Tom Brady be back to form for the Patriots? Has Terrell Owens finally found a home, or will he just ruin yet another team’s chemistry? Will the Bears have an offense now that they finally have a real quarterback in Jake Plummer? Can Tony Romo keep from choking in the playoffs? And, most importantly, who’s going to the Super Bowl in February?

On August 9th, we’ll start to have some answers. In the meantime, ESPN offers some of its thoughts on the big questions for 2009:
