4 Reasons Why You Can’t Live Without VideoSurf’s New Firefox Extension
VideoSurf’s “Videos at a Glance” Firefox add-on might not literally save your life, but for web video fanatics it will certainly make it more enjoyable. Download it here, and read on to learn the top four reasons why you can’t (and shouldn’t) go another day without this Firefox add-on.

1. You Won’t Get Fooled (on Twitter) Again
Want to know what’s behind that tiny URL on Twitter? VideoSurf’s Firefox extension gives you an in-browser sneak peak at the video content behind cryptic, shortened URLs.
Your Twitter stream or Twitter Search page will now display VideoSurf’s Visual Summaries for video links– showing you the most important frames along with the video title, main thumbnail and full source URL, right below the tweeted link. Now you can be free from spam and from Rick Astley.

2. Google and Yahoo! Search Results Will Be a Lot More Interesting
VideoSurf’s ‘Videos at a Glance’ enhances your normal Google or Yahoo! search results by adding videos related to your query from hundreds of sites across the Web including Hulu, Comedy Central, Fancast, and more.
Google “Perez Hilton” to see how it works. Not only are relevant, related videos returned on the right hand rail (including an interview clip of Hilton sparring with Chelsea Handler on Hulu, a full episode of Cribs on MTV, Jimmy Kimmel’s take on the Will.i.am incident on ABC, and more), now you can also preview Google’s own video results, before you click.
Cool tip: Hover over any of VideoSurf’s “Videos from the Web” on the right hand rail to see a preview of the video.

3. YouTube will Rock More
‘Videos at a Glance’ also enhances your YouTube search by delivering videos from all of the best sites on the Web.
Try a search on “South Park.” Without ‘Videos at a Glance’ all you’d get are short snippets of clips from the show and a bunch of user-generated parodies. Turn on ‘Videos at a Glance’ and now you’ll see tons of full episodes and the professional content that won’t get taken down a minute after it gets uploaded.
The new extension also breaks out the best scenes from each video on the search result page – it takes the guess work out of finding the video you’re looking for.

Don’t have time to watch the full video or want to skip right to your favorite scene? Click on any of the frames in the Visual Summary to skip right to the moment you want to watch.

4. It’s Totally Customizable, Adult Filters and All
Want to see more or fewer related video results? Want to expose all shortened URLs in Twitter? Want to make sure no adult content is returned in your related results? All of these elements and more are easy to change in the Videos at a Glance Preference menu.

Download today and change the way you use Twitter, Google, YouTube, and more. We’d love to hear your feedback!
