Belita Moreno

Aurabela "Belita" Moreno (born November 1, 1951) is an American actress. She was born in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Aurora Fernandez Rodriguez, a schoolteacher, and Abel Moreno, both of whom were originally from Mexico. She is a graduate of Justin F. Kimball High School. She is also a graduate of the theatre department of Southern Methodist University. She also trained at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, California. She was a regular on the long-running ABC series Perfect Strangers from 1986 to 1992, playing the role of Edwina Twinkacetti and later syndicated advice columnist Lydia Markham. She was in an episode of Full House. She lives with her husband, son, daughter, and Leo, a big golden retriever. More recently she played Benita "Benny" Lopez on The George Lopez Show (2002 - 2007).
