José Alberto Pujols Alcántara (puˈxols) (born January 16, 1980, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic), better known as Albert Pujols, (nicknamed Prince Albert, Sir Albert, Phat Albert, El Hombre, Winnie the Pujols, The Mang, and The Machine) is a Major League Baseball first baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals.
